Has anyone started on xmas yet?

I stole this from the Thanksgiving post. Has anyone started their planning, shopping, decorating for Christmas yet? If so, what checks do you have so far?

I am always ready for Christmas! I just bought some of the new cupcake ornaments at Nordstrom yesterday. They have red velvet ones and pink frosting ones. So cute!

Oh and at this very moment I am making a photobook for my nieces on shutterfly for one of their gifts. I am making the day of the wedding a children's story for them (they were the flowergirls). Then by tomorrow I hope to have the parents brag books done and ordered. I have been trying really hard to not have to do any last minute shopping this year. I've been buying gifts the past few months. Although I do love the mall at Christmastime.

Hahahah I love the book idea for your nieces. Sooo cute! I have already been doing my shopping as well. I do not like last minute things around the holidays and now that I have alot of additions to my family (in laws) I have even more shopping to do. I love giving gifts at Christmas :)I dont know if I can wait until after Thanksgiving to put some of my holiday decorations. I already want to put themout. Isnt that terrible?!The only thing I'm not looking forward to is having to drag all of our holiday stuff down from the loft space in the garage.

Randi I was the same way last Christmas. I felt like all my money was going towards the wedding last year so I  wasn't able to give the gifts that I would have wanted to

Well, for the past few months I have been making a list of things my FI wants. I have also been making a list for my sis and a list for me! LOL.

honestly I would never take down the decorations for the holidays but I must otherwise my family won't make fun of me. This year we are living with my FIs dad while we save for a house and wedding stuff. Normally I would have at least 50% of my shopping done and wrapped but I have bought 2 partial gifts thus far and don't know what I am going to do this year, if we had our own place I would be all over it. I agree with the financial portion of if. We are broke but I am spending extra money all the time on the wedding not christmas. My birthday is next week and I told my FI not to get me anything, just take me to disneyland and I will be happy( and even then it is free for me because it is my birthday)

I LOVE CHRISTMAS, I LOVE CHRISTMAS, I LOVE CHRISTMAS, I LOVE CHRISTMAS.  You get the idea.  I've already gotten my hubby 4 gifts.  I bought Pierce 2 gifts, but Stephen wanted him to have them right away.  He's a baby for Pete's sake, he has no clue what these toys are. lol!If it were up to me I would have the house already decorated.  But, alas, I have to rely on hubby to pull out the decorations.  I also LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC and DH hates it.  =(  But, my Piercey Poo is going to love it like his mama. =)  I just hate taking all the decorations down and putting them away.We threw a Christmas party last year and hubby just asked me if we were going to do it again.  I was like with a new baby I don't know if I am going to have time, but I think we will.  It's always fun and I do it the day after we get out of school so more people can come.  I think this year I'm going to put some games and contests together for our guests.  If I put a party together you all can come too. =)

Yay! Christmas time is the best time of year!!! I love it! I haven't started shopping yet but I can't wait! I love driving to the super decorated neighborhoods and just looking at them. A Christmas party sounds like so much fun!
