Music Crunch

ok now that the invites are done and i have time to kill waiting for my RSVPs to come back...  im tackling music once and for all..

I know theres a board somewhere out there for music but i havent found it much help so far...

we're still totally lost for a first dance song and also planning to do the combined mother/son/father/daughter dance to just get it overwith sicne all 4 of us are pretty shy and in fact my dad is threating a boycott but does anyone have any song ideas for this that arn't too sappy lovey dovey?

my mom is begging me relentlessly to agree to beyoce's single ladies for the bouquet. i would agree instantly if it want so cliche but now im thinking.. just because i know its cliche my whole family and guest list wont it might just be me being a knottie? any thoughts on this?

ok sorry for my long post...

-first dance suggestions?
-mother/son/father/daughter suggestions?
-and please share all your other music selections, dinner music, garter, bouquet, last dance, cake cutting song, cocktail music ect... Laughing

TIA

Thanks.  It was awesome!  I got tons of compliments from people who knew that the instrumentals were Metallica songs.  My MIL had no clue.  She would have said t was devil's music.  Hehehe.  Apocalyptica's music is beautiful.

@breleficent I know I'm super late on this post, but I was so excited to see Sigur Ros on your playlist! I always saw myself using some of their music on my wedding day, but trying to sell my FI on it is hard... I may have to just sneek one in there Wink
