Well if i'm going to wear a strapless dress, what would my bridesmaids dress tops be? what would look nice? my dress is going to be kinda poofy but not to the extreme poofy. help me!!!

I allowed my BMs to choose dresses they felt comfortable in rather than make them all wear the same dress.  So my BMs were not uniform.  I too had a strapless dress.  I posted a pic below of my BMs with me, each with different styles of dresses (sleaves, halter, strapless, and thin strap).

I agree, let them pick the style, but have the same color/ material

yeah thats what im going to do...its the easiest way and then you dont have girls whining about not liking the dress you chose.

I am doing the same thing. They all picked their own dress as long as it was the same length (about knee length) and color (black). That way I dont feel guilty about them buying an expensinve dress they will never wear again or one that they hate.

what I did is had the girls come to the bridal store with me and they all picked one black dress of the shelf.  Then they all tried them on.  One of the dresses that one of my BM picked everyone loved and ended up wanting.  :-)
