what are some crazy wedding ideas you had at the beginning?
or the craziest ideas that you've heard from other people?

my dad wants the inn n out truck to cater the reception

and even better.. FI keeps insisting that he wants a helicopter to bring him into the ceremony.

I've read that people have ATM machines for their guests to use in lieu of gifts.  The money goes straight to the bride & groom's account.

I don't know how well it's been picked up in the states but I know overseas it was a craze or something like that.

One of the ladies that used to post here tried to get the In-N-Out truck to cater her wedding.  She wanted the casualness of it.  i thought it was kind of cool.  I considered taco man!  Hahaha!  Only because I didn't want to spend a ton on the wedding.

Exactly!!  If I wasn't so dang stubborn and wanted a more fancy reception then we could have had taco man!  If it were up to Andrew we would have had our reception at his church's gym with taco man or the people at the church making the food for us!  Ummm, his bro did it this way...and I think many people do this.  I vetoed it QUICK!!  I wanted to be the one in the family that DIDN'T do it that way!  It worked!  It impressed everyone and they all thought we were rich (in comparison to all of their weddings)!  LOL.  Yea, we didn't spend that much...bargain hunting was my game.

id be down ith the taco man! and atm machine that is crazy!! i feel awkward enough about decorating a gift table let alone hauling in an atm machine.

When I was younger I so wanted In-N-Out to cater my wedding. I actually went to a wedding and they had an In-N-Out truck. I was disappointed to find out that they don't do fries...just chips.

Lets see...crazy wedding ideas. I can't say that I've actually been to a wedding that had anything crazy at it.

i haven't really heard of anything crazy but if you watch bridezilla, rich bride poor bride or platinum weddings theres always some crazy stuff on there. like the one time the girl wanted floating desert tables at the reception, i guess thats more tacky then crazy!! lol....the strangest thing at a wedding that i have been too was the dj made each table sing a love song to the bride and groom, so annoying. when they came to my table that was my cue to go to the bathroom! haha

I am having a taco man. He is actually going to cook inside the kitchen at our venue. He is A LOT cheaper than a catering service but serves great food. As far as my guests are concerned, we are having a Mexican Buffet.

The best part is my best friend is paying for him. Me and my sister were going to cook everything the day before and the day of until my friend offered to pay for the taco man as a wedding gift.

I have another friend that is bringing homemade Ceviche as an appetizer!

Crazy, well some people might think it's crazy.

I'm having the Cool Haus ice cream sandwich company come out to my reception with the ice cream truck. They're ice cream sandwiches are awesome and I thought why the hell not, I like being different.

ah i love it. the ice cream man came down my street and stopped right in front of my house while the neighbor kids ran out and i was seriously scrounging around the house looking for some dollars but i couldnt find not even 1 dollar. that what i get for using plastic all the time.  but i think your guests will love the ice cream!!
