Florist Budget

Hi Ladies
I was wondering if any of you know of a florist that had resonable prices.  My mom wants me to get a few bids because she seems to think that we can get it less expensive that what I got quoted and I dont agree...But, I dont want to just go to anyone because my flowers are important to me.

My florist was insanely cheap BUT the man is a talker and our consult appt took 2 hours and we still didnt get everything figured out during that visit. His work is really nice and hands down the best prices I could find. So if you dont mind a long consult then its worth it. On average he was a bit more than half the price of all the other quotes I got. The shop is located in Redlands and I would be happy to give you his info if you want.

Sure! His name is Bill and the shop is called Redlands Bouquet Florist in Redlands. The number is (909) 793-2553 Its not in the greatest area of town but the prices are worth it. Here is a breakdown of what I had for my flowers:

1 Bride bouquet
5 BM bouquets
1 toss bouquet

All bouquets had hydrangas, peonies (all the other florist were going to charge me at least $6-8 per peony but he charged me $3) and roses wrapped in satin ribbon.

7 bouts for the groomsmen and dad/brother

4 corsages for moms/grandmas

Flowers for the cake (these were SUPPOSED to go AROUND the cake but my MIL jammed them IN my cake! Yes, I am still bitter)

Rental of aisle runner of shepherds hooks with sash

Delivery and setup

I think my total ended up being around $680. I can double check when I get home but I remember my other quotes being around $1000-1400.

I second Amber's florist :0)
I used him to and was VERY satisfied I originally had 18 tables and I left him a message the night before the wedding that I was adding an additional table and if he could do a center piece great if not I understood. Well when I got the reception he had done the additional table at no charge
his work was great the flowers lasted for days :0)
but yes he is a talker

No, I did my own centerpieces but his prices were really good for those. Sylvia might know what his prices were for her centerpieces

I'd probably have to pay a hefty fee for delivery. My wedding is all the way in Laguna Beach.

Wow these prices sound great, I was going to get mine done at a flower shop in Ontario, where my future MIL worked and I thought I was geting a deal!  Thanks!
