The year before last our Xbox got the red ring of death. We ended up buying another one which I susected would have the same fate. It did and Andrew was forced to send both out to be fixed at the same time. We got both back and everything has worked fine until December. One died on us again...yet again the red ring of death. And guess what happened today...the 2nd one got the red ring of death. Andrew is so sad and asked me "Now what am I going to do?". I don't even know how long XBox guarantees their work...probably only a year so we're screwed. It costs $100 to repair. Might as well get a new one that doesn't have the red ring of death issue (2nd gen?).
