My nursery inspirations

I am already looking for nursery ideas for little Ashton or Mia.  I really am drawn to the dark furniture and tan wall look, neutrals.  The only issue I see is that my whole house has this same look (or will when we paint).  I think if I throw some reds or greens in the mix the nursery will have some more character.  I don't really want a gender specific colored room.   I prefer a classic clean look.  i think it looks classy!

I didnt know you were pregnant!  Congrats...I think the green always looks good with the brown and so does blue.  Either way with the brown and dark wood most colors look good with it :-)

I should have put a disclaimer in there.  I'm not pregnant yet.  We're trying though.  Sorry for the confusion!  I was at a friend's house and she happenes to be pregnant so we were looking for nursery ideas.

LOL.  I didn't even realize I didn't put one in there.  This month we are definitely going to put some real effort into trying.  The past few months we haven't been preventing pregnancy but I wasn't paying attention to when we should be trying either.  If my calculations are correct and my body is working properly then this week should be the week to really get to trying.  A frined of mine said her fertility doctor told her to do it every 2 days the week of ovulation.  So here we are...I'm going to try it.  Andew doesn't believe I will be able to handle it.

My nursery was winnie the pooh inspired. I really loved it! I like your idea too... really neat.

My daughter's nursery was all white with a Precious Moments theme.  My tastes have changed drastically since then.  I no longer want any type of characters or themed prints.  A design is fine (like dots) but no animals, people, cars, etc.

Very chic. I saw on FB that Lacey was the first preggers knottie from last years weddings.. so many babies coming!

I know!  My wedding was in 2008 so Rebecca beat me in the pregnancy thing for 2008 weddings.

Oh, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dark furniture! It is a more modern look.

Lacey HS.  the one that works at Red Lobster.  Nt mod Lacey.  Although she was trying as well.  I looked at her FB but she's never on...no word on that one yet.
