food tasting/detailed appt scheduled!!!

so im super excited to get this done but one thing that bothered me is that we are only allowed to choose 2 items from each catagory of the menu....just seems like the polint of tasting is to try several things and see what you like best. i don't feel it should be limited to 2. what happens if you don't like the 2 you chose? is this how it usually works?

    That is lame but they are doing it to keep costs down.  They didn't even offer a tasting at my place.  I was not happy.

    Our caterer did the same thing. We were able to pick 2-3 things from each category to taste. The nice thing was that they did let us come back for a 2nd tasting since we weren't crazy but some of our 1st choices. I think they only start with the 2 choices to keep cost down like Kasi said. From a business point of view it's understandable since alot of caterers out there don't even offer tastings. If you are not crazy about your 1st tasting then let them know you would like to come back again.

    At Mission Inn we were only supposed to have two also, but we had to have a vegetarian option so they did three for us. Like Amber said, I am sure if you have any problems, they will work it out with you.
