After my little crisis the other day I started working on adjusting our budget to fit the increase in our mortgage.  We're canceling cable.  We barely watch it anyway.  We prefer movies so we'll keep our Hollywood Video membership where you rent as many as you want each month.  We're cancelling gym memberships and working on budgeting better on food.  This should free up some money to make up the difference.  I feel better now and not so stressed.

As for the weekend, I have tons of reading to do for school and some assignments I need to get done.  In between that on Saturday we're going to go for a bike ride.  I'm so glad we bought bikes.  It's so refreshing getting out and riding with Suri and Andrew.   On Sunday I have a family GTG to go to.  I would rather pass on it but I can't.  I already got my way with not having to host it at our house. 

As for good news...umm, our pretty new dishwasher should be deliverd tomorrow.  Ooh, forgot about that one actually until just now.  We have our vacation somewhat booked.  We have the room but no flights yet.  We're staying at a resort in a 2 story 2bdrm townhome on the Big Island of Hawaii!  I'm really excited about that.  I've never had such a nice place to stay.  Normally we get a cheapy room so we have more $ to play with. 

That's all I can think of right now.

Football! Football! Football! That is pretty much our weekend. I will be so glad when the superbowl is over and I have my husband back. I am helping a friend design the landscape for her new house and that is pretty much all I have going on as of now.

Kasi- the townhouse sounds awesome. I have never been to Hawaii. How did you find the place? I wonder if we could find something like that in Jamaica. All the hotels I have looked at are super huge and so crowded and I dont know how to pick one since we have never been there before.

We did a stupid timeshare trial thing.  Yea, we fell for it but only the trial not the full thing.  So we paid a lot for it and have to use it this year.  That's how we got the townhome.  It was actuually chepaer to book the flight and that townhome myself through one of the travel sites like Orbitz.  I wrote about it in my blog that has a link below.  It has pics too.  I give them credit for having nice rooms though.  Only good thing about the timeshare. 

Ooh Jamaica!?  NICE!!  When are you going?  Look up FDR Pebbles and the Franklin D Resort in Jamaica.  I got those names off the resorts that the timeshare place I have are affilitaed with.  You can book outside a stupid timeshare.

Kasi-That place in Hawaii sounds AWESOME.  I have never been to Hawaii before...so just Hawaii sound awesome!  Bike ride sounds very nice.  I should buy myself a bike..the boys have bikes so it would be fun to join them :-)

Amber-I totally understand about football UGH!  Im so so so so over football.  We have to plan everything around football..its cutting into my social life LOL

Tonight we are going to just hang out and have pizza and relaxation.  Every Friday night its the same thing and I love it.  Pizza and movies..its a time just to recoup from the week. Saturday we have a cake tasting appointment and then we are going to stop by a venue to make our final decision then football for the rest of the day!  Then Sunday its football all day.  He is inviting one of his friends over and they are going to bbq and watch football..me, i might just finish one of my real estate finance classes I have been dreading so that I can finally book my test date.

Sarah - Hawaii is awesome.  I always just want to stay there and never leave. 

I am lucky!  No football for me!!  Andrew doesn't watch sports.  Yay!  BUT he like video games.  I won't see him for days when he is in game mode.  Sometimes I will get into game mode with him bit not often. 

Great idea on pizza and movies to unwind!  I like it!!  And yes, get a bike...it's refreshing to take rides!

i know its so dead and im not any better about coming on here more often like i used to but anywho....weekend is here and tonight its family movie night, we will be watching public enemies if anyone wants to join! lol....tomorrow fi is in a softball tournament so i will be supporting him there and it helps that they will have there trailer out there with beer. im sorry but seriously who can watch and full day of softball without beer, i know i can't....sunday is alsways cleaning day so i will be cleaning my house. thats it, nothing to exciting.

Randi - I blog while at work!  HAHA.  I do everything while I'm at work.  I don't like to do stuff like that at home.  The thoughts don't come to me at home. 

I didn't really like Public Enemies.  I fell asleep a few minutes into the movie.  It seemed like it would be boring.  I love Johnny Depp...I was so disappointed.  Maybe you'll like it.  i didn't watch most of it.

Thanks for the tip Kas! I will check it out. We want to stay in Montego Bay and south west Jamaica since the other areas tend to be unsafe or have higher tourist crime. Sadly, that is what scares people away from going there at all.

No problemo Amber.  Try going to the travel board on The Nest.  People there are pretty helpful.  It's all about traveling and there's always people asking questions about certain place they want to go.

Good Morning everyone!

I'm doing good. I decided to take off a few days from work next week. So I'm home till Thursday and I am so excited.

The husband is going to visit his relatives today and I plan on staying home and just resting up. I'm super tired and a hour long drive doesn't seem to fit into my "day off" agenda.

You're too funny Ronnie!!  I so wish I could get out of visiting relatives like that.  So far I've gotten out of hosting a GTG for Andrew's family at our house.  I tired to get out of going to it tomorrow now that it's moved but I can't.  Dangit!!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I had a mary kay party for  me and my bridesmaids. I got  some free offers from some vendors too... so excited about that. It was a  great party, cant complain!
