I see we have some Berdoo girls here! Or at least people that lived there at one time. I just moved from there last year. Grew up there starting in Jr. High.
To answer your question about my venue. It isn't the prettiest venue but it was low cost in comparison to other venues I considered. My mom's BF works there so we got discounts on a lot of things. To give you an idea of cost, we paid $4700 for the venue which included the ceremony, reception, drinks, & food. I don't think that was too bad at all. When I first walked in I was skecptical about the look. It is an older building inside and out. That all went away when it was decoreated for my wedding. It was transformed into a much nicer venue.
