I can't believe I'm just a short 100 days away from being a Mrs.  I remember thinking I'd never again be a Mrs.  ~sigh~ 100 days are going to fly, which is why I need to get back to catering - I've got the proposal.  Here's whats been suggested....I'm not thrilled with the Reuben but it's my personal taste. 

Smoked Pulled Pork Sliders
Sweet & Spicy chicken Bacon Wraps
Mini Reuben Sandwiches
BLT Dip & Crackers 
Proscuitto Wrapped Melon
along with the cake, beer & wine.  

I'm not a wine drinker so I'm open to suggestions - the only wine I really like is communion wine - Mogen David Concorde. lol.   Call me crazy but I really want a box wine...seems beachy to me. 

Just a note - this is an "open house" style reception - not traditional which is why I'm only doing apps - and yes - everyone is informed that it's an app only menu on the announcement.  :)

    If you don't like Reubens, take them off the menu.  Other than that, no suggestions.  I don't drink so I'm useless with wine recommendations.  Good luck!

    Our bartender is bringing only boxed wine...this isn't a wedding at the Smithsonian lol :)  The only one I asked specifically for is a Moscato because I have to have sweet wine.

    LRaider - if you've never had bricco riella mascato try it!!!!  This is great stuff.  This is the only other wine I drink.  I don't get but a bit of communion wine. :)

    I agree if you don't like reubens - take them off.

    You seem pork heavy.  As the mother of a "no pig meat" kid (not religious, just idiosyncratic), you might want to offer some options with beef or fish without bacon.  ~Donna

    Reubens are off & out.  I told the caterer neither one of us are fans of the rebuen and if we could sub with either the carmalized onion tartlet or twice baked potato bites we could contract.  Waiting to hear back.  :)

    We're doing some veggie & fruit trays ourselves - it's cheaper!  :)

    BLT dip - bacon, mayo, sour cream & tomato - I'm guessing.
