we are having a very small wedding, including the bride and groom there are going to be 20 people. I am having my daughter stand with me and my FI is having his nephews stand with him. everyone is ok with this, all our family and friends just want us to have the day the way we want it. Here is my mini-dilemma I have a BFF who has helped me to find my dress, she is offering to buy our wedding cake and has mentioned hosting a small bridal shower for us. She has been so sweet, can she be considered my MOH or Bridemaid even if she is not standing with us? I will do something special for her for all she has and will do for us. also, can I offer to provide her with a mailing list for our guests so she can contact them if/when she plans the shower and can I make a recommendation to her on when to have the party because most of my family are from the west cost and we are on the east coast so it would be nice to have the shower when they are here. I dont feel I need a bridal shower, but since she mentioned it I just want t make things easier for her and all involved. finally do we have to registar someplace if there is going to be a shower?
