My mother got the pathology report yesterday and the surgeon is 99% sure she will just need hormone blocking therapy instead of chemo or radiation. She will see the oncologist on 12/5 and we hope the surgeon is right. He said she had the "good kind". OK, so she had the "good" pancreatic cancer and the "good" breast cancer, I don't think I want her to try for a third!
After all my tears and trauma over this, we have been very lucky. My heart goes out to families that aren't so fortunate.
