Ok I now have some sympathy for all the posts over on the etiquette boards about dealing with people that RSVP for more than who was invited.
For the AHR we invited only kids from the families. All the other guests are adults.
Except for I just got a RSVP from one of Big D's friends - and she went ahead and let us know she's bringing her kid.
GRRRRR.
1. I've never met said kid.
2. She's a teenager and won't know any of the other kids there.
3. Um - NOT INVITED...
Why do people do this?
And the best part? I'm not even sure if Big D didn't tell her it would be fine... gotta wait to see what he says about that before I give this lady a call about it. (or if i just suck it up and let her bring the teenager...)
