Lucy's attire post got me thinking....how many of us have had to wear horrible, awful, almost criminal Bridesmaids dresses?
I had one that was just butt ugly. Now a black and white wedding seems tasteful, right? In the late 80's, early 90's..uh, no - not so much.
Was a high/low dress - body was black - Satin black. The sleeves came half way between the elbow & shoulder - one Poofy white sleeve the other black. Did I mention POOFY?? The white extended across the midriff like a sash, kinda had a ruching effect, but not nearly as flattering. Oh and there was that beautiful black & white BOW with rhinestones that outlined the bow itself so it really stuck out which was attached at the hip. Did I mention those POOFY sleeves.
OMG, that's the day I swore I'd never be a bridesmaid again. LOL. Good thing their still married or I'll ask for my money back. LOL!!!
That dress I wore is long gone...but I found a general idea - just picture it in the aboved mentioned description. YIKES
