Fun at my bachelorette party last Sat...

I am getting married in 27 days, and last Saturday was my Shower in the afternoon. Formal and beautiful, and then some fun later that evening. A bridesmaid snapped this photo of me singing Karaoke at the same bar my FI and I met at over 3 years ago Thought I'd show proof, never too old to have fun. Oh, and I don't drink so this is sober fun, lol

That's great!  Love karaoke!!!  We did almost the same thing.  We went to the beach in NC for the bachelorette party, the returned to Raleigh for a shower on Sunday in mid-April.  Ten of my friends went to the beach and we had a blast. 

If you're not thinking about doing a bachelorette party, you should, in some form.  It was great to get away with folks I've been friends with for up to 46 years, as well as my new sister-in-law.  Then we all got back together this weekend and had a great time.

I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time in 27 days, Karen!!!

Thanks, I am sure too. Marrying into a great family, that has excepted me, (even though I am 12 years older than him) lol

Ya, I recommend the shower and bachelorette party. I didn't get one with first marriage, so loved every minute of mine. Glad you had a great party and wedding. Congrats!

How fun!!!  I'm glad you got to experiene a shower and bachlorette party, especially since you didn't get to the first time.  Those are 2 of the things I'm looking forward to most!!!  This is my first marriage, so everything is new for me!

Glad you had a great time!  No one wants to hear me sing!!!!!  I can't wait for my bachelorette party.  First marriage I got a shower with the family, and it was really boring.  I want to skip that and just have a night out with my girls and I've told them that.
