Suddenly missing my dad and not having him here to walk me down the aisle. He died 20 years ago this month and as this is my first wedding, the timing I think is hitting me even harder than I thought. No grandparents either, only my mom and we are praying she is well enough to attend (spent Mother's Day in the ICU w/her - congestive heart failure).
Having a pity party and missing the "elders" in the family and getting advice from them and having them be part of this.
