I just realized all the career hats I've worn - and I know enough to be dangerous, I know enough to not keep my mouth shut.  Let's see -

Big box retail front end mgr - burns my butt when CSM's (customer service mgrs) are standing around chatting and there are long lines - I wanna scream at them - shut up and get on a register! And sometimes I make sure they know what I'm talking about - I know all the buzz words they use. LOL. 

Sales & Catering Asst / Event Planner - I know when you, the client, are getting screwed over - I  also know when you, the client ask for the impossible.  I also know when planners are Wrong about their business practices.

Govt Secretary - I know all politicians are liars  - I dont care how much they say their telling you the truth - they're lying.  Don't belive a 1/4 of what they say.

I'm so thankful I'm in a low key job these days.  I just need to remember to keep my mouth shut.

My former boss was a big anti-vaccine proponent.  It was scary.  She finally had to get her kid vaccianted when she wanted to put him in school (all students in DC schools -- public, private or charter -- must have proof of vaccination).  What scares me is that I'm sending my kid off to college in a couple of months with a TON of kids whose parents likely never had them vaccinated.  Yikes!  Dorms are petri dishes.  Double yikes!
