The photo is your siggy - what's the name of that diner?  I think I had a knottie GTG there a few years ago.  It looks like a Worcester lunchcar.  We have one here in my hometown, they serve an amazing (heart attack inducing) breakfast.  ~Donna

  • That one is the Four Sisters Owl Diner. That's the first one I remember ever going to (and loving). It's in Lowell. That's where I grew up.

It's the Retro/Vintage siggy challenge this month: inspirational venues. It's not the one I want to use as my venue. I didn't find a photo I liked of that one, and I'm keeping it a little low-key until I can approach them.

Massachusetts has great diners to pick from, though. FI and I are going to go to diners when he's here. He's never lived in the US before, and they are so perfectly Americana.

  • Oh - the one we met at was in Somerville, I think.  It had a diner front, but maybe some addition in the back?  ~Donna

You might be thinking of Rosebud. It does have a diner front and more out back. I've never been in the back part though.

That's right in Davis Square. It's easy to get to with the Red Line, so it would have been a good choice to meet.

  • I think that was it!!  We met up for brunch with a couple from Second Weddings who were honeymooning in New England, but staying in Danvers their last night before flying home, I think.
We sat in the diner car, so I can't tell you much about the added part, either.  ~Donna
