So I picked up the veil my friend made for me; it's the right color and looks lovely. It is however not the length or the width we had discussed. It was suppose to come down to my wrists and cover my arms. Now I don't know what to do.
I'm self-concious about my arms and I know I will likely not give it a second thought on the day, but right now I'm stressing out. I want to wear it but can't figure out how to fix it. I don't sew, she lives 100 miles away and there isn't time to get it to her and get it changed. And I don't want to insult her or add any stress to her life (she has some major issues happening in her life and her even doing for me was a surprise).
Any thoughts about what I can do? I was even thinking about finding another veil that I could wear under it that is bigger, doing a layered thing, but not sure that would look okay.
Deep breaths...and 7 days to go!
