Yep, that's me. My oldest daughter and I were putting up a mirror in the kids bathroom Sunday. We had those clear brackets and were installing them and had the mirror up and it started to give way and I put my left hand up to brace the mirror, it broke and cut my wrist.
We went immediately to the hosptial - all three of us showed up with no shoes on! I do not handle blood well at all.
Fortunately it missed the tendon and arteries, one vein but a deep cut.
So my oldest drove - we only live about 2-3 miles from the hospital. She's 15 and has her permit. Once the wound was stablized, and we began the "hurry up and wait" part, I had her drive back to the house and get our shoes, purses and phones. I feel bad - but not too bad!
Needless to say, I am not hanging the mirror in that bathroom!
Ugh!
