Our wedding is in a book!

After the wedding, we put a bunch of our photos (from our photographer, Portrait New England) up on Flickr. We got a request on one of them (a small version of which is shown below, and a larger version of which can be seen by clicking on it) from the Science Museum London to put it into a group called "Coupling Up," about the science of attraction. We said yes. (If one of my photos is already online, I typically have no objection to anyone wanting to use it.)

What I didn't realize at the time was that the group was part of a competition. Science Museum London was putting the top 50 photos into its permanent exhibit, and also making a booklet of all of them. And some time later, we got notice that ours was one of the 50 photos selected out of a total of 603 entries.

The booklet just arrived today. A picture of it is below.

Yes, it's kind of a silly thing. But I'm still smiling.

That's so great. It's just plain fun, but also so cool to hear that the museum is acknowledging same sex couples too.

I'm guessing religion too -- you guys were a two for one with two women and the chuppah <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />

Posted by tenofcups4me[/QUOTE]The funny thing is, our chuppah was totally unique.  I actually had to find a picture of a chuppah from the Middle Ages to determine that having a peak on top was kosher for a chuppah.  I'm now wondering whether there are going to be a bunch of people in London sure that's what a chuppah is <em>supposed</em> to look like.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
