Im looking for a place to hold my reherdal dinner for about 30 people. Also would like the place to have beer and wine and something that is not crazy expensive trying to stay under $600. Looking in Akron/canton/fairlawn/cuyahoga falls or anywhere in between. Thanks for the help ladies.

    Winking Lizard is budget friendly and has good food. It's a local chain with locations in Macedonia, Peninsula, Fairlawn, Canton, to name a few. I'm pretty sure they all have party rooms or patios you can reserve.

    One idea re: beer/wine... instead of paying for unlimited drinks, you certainly can cap it and only pay for one or two alcoholic drinks per person. We capped it at one per person which covered what they'd be drinking with dinner. If a guest wanted more beyond that, they were responsible for paying for it at the bar. You just have to let the venue know ahead of time so they can inform the servers working your group. It's not a big deal, and it does save you a bit of cash (without you looking cheap, LOL).

    Check out 3 Point in downtown Akron, right by Crave!  They are awesome and have an upscale casual feel.  GREAT food, and they are very flexible -- willing to create a custom menu for you and work within your budget.  :)
