Directions Insert - HELP!!

Hi ladies! We are on our last insert for the wedding, which is the directions. We are a little stuck on where to start the directions from. We have some people coming from out of town (Michigan/PA/TN) that will most likely drive here, and then our in towners, from all the surrounding areas. Do we make separate directions from North, East, South & West? We have from the Hotel to Church and Hotel to Reception, but not everyone will be staying at the hotel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Instead of written directions, we worked up a map of the general area that included notation where the hotels were (2 at the same intersection), the ceremony location and reception location. The map only showed the main roads necessary to get to where we needed them to go. We also had folks coming from MI as well as pretty much everywhere else. The turnpike, I-71 and I-77, as well as the airport were all clearly indicated on our map. Written directions would have been a total PITA for us. IIRC, our map was done in Illustrator (my sis did it) but I'm sure you could use any other program that lets you draw/sketch. We used a mapquest type map as the basis and worked from there.
