Beach Venues - Carillon, Water Color Resort, Seaside

Hello Florida ladies!Bf has decided to come home with me to the US this summer to check out venues, buy the ring, and ask dear old dad (living overseas we have to kill multiple birds with one stone).I am hoping to get your opinion on the three venues we will be visiting on the panhandle. Have any of you been to a wedding or know anything about Carillon, the Water Color Resort, or Seaside Beach? I am looking for a place where we can get hitched on the beach, walk up to a tented reception, and most of our guest have different options to stay onsite (everyone will be OOT, some from overseas).Your opinions on the venues in consideration would be very helpful! It is confusing to go on websites alone!

Im getting married in Rosemary Beach May 2010 and found it to be a much better deal than Seaside, (looked into Watercolor---not carillion so cant say much about that).  The homes in Rosemary are so much  newer/nicer and really reasonable...what really got us was Rosemary's willingness to allow outside vendors.  Seaside had a very small, strict list---and they (Seaside) had to be the ones to do the liquor for you---they don't allow a per head price for the drinks, so you are only able to pay for the drinks as you would a cash bar (with each liquor drink being 8 or 9 dollars, beers 5.50-6.50)---that would have broke us alone and we know there will be some heavy drinkers!  The caterers we are using at Rosemary are allowing us to bring in our own booze and they will just serve it.  And---the beach at Seaside was around 4K to rent (then you rent a different area for around that or more for your reception)...the beach at Rosemary is only ~ 750.00All that said, Rosemary does not allow outdoor events after late May (i think just before Memorial Day)---so if your planning anything Memorial Day thru Labor Day, that is not the place to go.Good Luck!!
