airbrush tanning

I had to tan and damage my skin for weeks to glow on my wedding day but my friend just had a mobile airbrushing service (www.glowhealthy.com) come to her and she was absolutely radiant. She had the same airbrush tan by Infinity Sun at the Jose Eber salon on Rodeo Drive. She also got the shimmer finish which was so pretty!

no, not advertising---just like to share a great service when I come across it--the same way others do on here...i wish someone on here would've told me about it!!! I had to lay in tanning beds and dreaded every second of it and my friend found this service and not only was she glowing, I couldn't believe her tan wasn't real! It would be a shame not to share it with other brides!!

In that case, welcome to the board. Tell us a little about yourself. You said you had to tan for your wedding, are you already married?

I'm sorry but something is bothering me. You keep saying that you had to tan and you had to damage your skin. You didnt have to do any of that. You could have stayed your natural skin color for your wedding. I'm pretty pale and I dont tan naturally- I burn, but I refuse to put myself at a high risk for skin cancer just to look tan for my wedding. The airbrush thing is nice to know but you dont have to be tan on your wedding day.

I "had" to tan because when I'm pale, it's not pretty. It's more gray than ivory. I think if you're a pale ivory, that's gorgeous as well. I didn't search out airbrush tanning because I thought I'd be orange. When I saw my friend and how natural and glowing she was, I could't believe it. As for getting to know me, back when I was planning my wedding, I was on here all the time and never saw anything advertised of it's kind--so I thought you guys would appreciate the tip! (that is, if you are looking for it!)

Yeah. I'm with MrsSikes on this. No one put a gun to your head and MADE you tan. And its not like sunless tanning is new innovation. But thanks for the link. If they're cheap, I might use them for my b-pics in August.

No, I wasn't referring to the message boards, was referring to the fact that I never saw anything of it's kind advertised under "local resources" ...
