Dress Alterations

When do you need to take your dress for alterations? I will not need too much just taken in up top and a bustle and get steamed... so I was thinking 2 months out. What do you typically do because I know you have 2 or 3 fittings.

    I took mine today and it will be ready in 2 weeks, I'm getting a bustle and a few adjustments to my corset corset. My MOH has to have hers taken in plus a bustle and she has to go for a second fitting in 2 weeks then it's another week or so. My wedding is September 26

    2 months out sounds normal to me, you don't really need that much.

    Sure, 2 or 3 months out. Shouldn't take them too long, but if your wedding is during a popular wedding season, there might be a little backup, so don't make it too tight of a timeline.
