Le Jardin on Park

What can you guys tell me about this place? I saw some nasty reviews online that make me wonder...but their price seems decent, and it includes a lot. Thanks!

I went to see the place when I was looking for venues. It has a quaint feel and I think the price is good for what you get. The parking could be a problem. Ultimately it didn't have the feel I was going for and the lady that showed it to me said she would email me a couple things and she never did it, which turned me off.

I don't know anything about it personally...but I always think that for every bad review there are 100 good ones... People just tend to put the bad stuff into writing. I would go in person and get a feel for the place and who you'll be working with. You can't always trust reviews.

I have heard that you basically get what you pay for there. The customer service is not good at all but I think the weddings turn out ok. I have a friend getting married there in Oct and she hasnt been too impressed but also hasnt said it was awful.

Hmmm...first hand reviews are pretty reliable though. Maybe the girls here are on to something.

HI,Le Jardin on Park, was on my list as one of the places I would consider, but after reading to the reviews you are talking about, talking to the women over the phone who was difficult to reach, and then hard to make an appt with her, I decided not to go with that place I did check some other places, and depends on where you live, and on when your wedding is you can get some great deals. For instance, I ended up going with the Omni Hotel in Downtown Jacksonville, it is very nice, but I'm not using their big ballrooms since I only have 30-40 guests, we just have few friedns here, and most of our friends and family are in NY, so not everyone can come, so we are using one of their meeting rooms, that of course they will transform into a beautiful reception. I recommend you check them out. Another place I almost went with is the Fleming Island Plantation club, very nice place too and very affordable....
