Would this be inappropriate?

I'm having my bridal shower in December and my MOH asked me to send her the guest list ASAP.  I would really like to invite my photographer because we have became friends since I have signed a contract with her.  She is really sweet and we send messages through email and facebook quite often.  She lives in Defuniak Springs, which is near Destin, but she's from Tallahassee, so she comes to the area a decent amount.Do you think it would be inappropriate to include her in the guest list to my shower since she's not actually a guest to my wedding, but a vendor?

I think if you feel like you guys are friends, invite her. Just make sure she knows she isn't expected to take pictures. If she feels awkward she can always decline.

Not in the least...if she is your friend go ahead and invite her.

If you're friends with her, then go for it. Make sure she knows she's not required to work it and she can kick back and relax.

I agree. Just say something like, "I know you'll be attending the wedding as my photographer...but I'd really love it if you would attend my shower as my friend." I don't think it's inappropriate at all.
