Anybody live in the Panhandle?

... and could recommend a good beach for a July wedding? Something off the beaten path?

Where on the Panhandle are you looking? That covers about half the state. I'm in Pensacola and we have girls as far away as Gainesville.

I agree with Angie St. George is gorgeous. I almost decided to have my wedding there. If you are looking something more off the beaten path though, Shell Point or Alligator Point are also nice, or you could also look into Cape San Blas. Ive heard Cape San Blas is gorgeous but I have never been there.

St. George is beautiful and you could have the reception in Apalachicola at the Gibson Inn, which we LOVED when we looked at it.  You may also want to check out A Highlands House in Santa Rosa Beach.  It's a beautiful B&B within walking distance to the beach and they have a great lawn to set up a beautiful reception.

Mexico Beach near Panama City...perfect little secluded beach community. I live in Pensacola, but have visited Mexico Beach and it is very cool.
