I recently talked to a bride about uplighting, she mentioned how expensive it is, and by searching I found the same info on these boards.
Our reception is in Panama City Beach, in a conference center (with very plain white walls) and i was thinking that a canister in each corner would be nice just to brighten the place.
I'm curious though, who do you rent the canisters/gel from? My DJ is provided by the venue (kindof a package deal), so i don't think i can add lighting to his deal with the venue. I looked at the DIY stuff, but that kindof scares me (canisters getting hot and burning/fire being a liability). Who else should i go through for renting? Did anyone DIY that can offer tips for me?
