It was a great day. Weather was perfect and everything went without a hitch.  Hubby is now taking a nap as he's still exhausted :)  Everything went well, except our cake never showed up but it wasnt a big deal and was the least of my worries.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!! I know I will :)

    Any reason on why your cake didn't show up? Who did you order it from?

    Erin, I'll chime in for now until babyblues sees your question.

    She ordered her cake from Publix and (from what I heard at the wedding) they basically lost her order and claimed they never received an order for the cake. Someone had to run up to Publix to pick up a stand-in cake for them to cut. It worked out OK in the end like she said, but it's still completely unacceptable.

    Babyblues, keep me posted on what ends up happening with Publix.

    Yep it was Publix and what Greenlikekermit said is what happened.  And we're getting it worked out with Publix.  They found the order in the Saturday orders instead of Friday's.  And the lady who went to get the stand in cake was reimbursed upon returning the cake stand.  We'll be reimbursed tomorrow most likely with full payment and will receive a free top layer of our cake that we ordered for our one year anniversary.  But oh well, it was still a great time and made for a great story!!

    Oh wow...I can't believe they screwed up your cake.  Very unacceptable.  At least it worked out though.
