Just getting started - Panhandle Help Please!

Hey girls,
I've been stalking the boards a bit, trying to get ideas. I'm just starting to look for venues and ceremony sites. We know we want a private ceremony on a beach. We then want to head to a reception site that is not too far away. Has anyone done something similar? How did you time everything? Was everything crazy expensive?

I was thinking of having a beach ceremony. A lot of hotels do beach weddings, and have the reception in the hotel. Just google beach weddings and location and you should be able to find all that you are looking for.
