We booked the caterer today! I'm so excited! Her name is Bruette Davis (her husband Joe helps too). I used to work with her a couple of years ago, as a server, catering weddings. Her food is delicious and they're a really sweet couple. I'm going to take our menu choices (it'll be an hor's douvres reception) with me when I go see FI for Spring Break in early March.

Also, I finally updated the wedding blog. There's a link to the post about our engagement pictures there. If you want to see all of them you can look in the gallery. Just click on "Lacey & Caleb" and it will ask you for an email once you click "Enter Gallery". It won't send any spam - it'll just tell you when the gallery is about to close (on Tuesday).

Oh, my sister Haley is stuck between two bridesmaid dresses...which do you think looks better?

    Great check! I voted in the poll. IMO the first dress...while pretty, does nothing for her figure. The second dress gives her a very nice defined waist and bust line. I also happen to think it's the prettier dress of the two. It's really cute! :) What color are they wearing?

    I voted and agree with Christie! The second dress accentuates her waist and gives her more of a shape. Very pretty!

    I thought that I had written the color in there. All of the bridesmaids' dresses will be in David's Bridal's Marine color (basically Navy Blue). The only requirements I gave them was that the dress needs to be the Marine color and floorlength. That way they could each pick a style of dress that they are comfortable in.

    I had told her at David's Bridal that the red one was definitely more figure flattering. She still couldn't decide though. The purple one is a shimmery chiffon fabric, which she thinks is very pretty and I think that is her main attraction to that one.

    The first dress doesn't make her stand out, but in the red she really pops. I really like it.
