New to the Boards from Jax, FL

Hi fellow Knotties!  I am new to the boards but they have been very useful. I got engaged on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo! I have been looking for Venues and have narrowed it down to three; the Cummer, the Aetna Building and Club Continental. I need ideas for photographers and florists. Anybody used some outstanding vendors at a reasonable price? I am also stuck on wedding colors. I really don't know. I like Royal or Peacock Blue but that's all I have.
Any ideas or suggestions will be most helpful. Thanks everyone!

    Check out Jenn Hopkins Photography - She is out bof Jacksonville.  She does great work, very good with natural light.  Her prices are good and she is just sweet and plesant to work with! Congrats on getting engaged and enjoy the planning.

    I am getting married at Club Continental next April and am using Jennifer Mosley for photographer.  Carla Sparks @ CC referred us to her and showed us one of her albums during our site visit.  She's not cheap, but much more reasonable than some of the other photographers we met with.

    Congrats and welcome! Tonya Beaver Photography is amazing! She shot our wedding in May and we LOVE the pictures.

    Welcome to the boards!  We are using Ivey Photography.  It is a married photography couple so you get two photographers for the price of one.

    Thanks so much to everyone! I am going to research all of the photographers and hopefully mine will be from this list.  I will let you know my final decision for venue. I should have it this week. So excited!!!
