Any suggestions on a pianist and or vocalist for a catholic wedding in Jacksonville Florida for September 2012!

    May I ask which church you are being married in? We went with a vocalist within our parish and she chose the pianist. I suggest asking the music cordinator at your parish (assuming you are being married there). I do know that the Immaculate Conception and St Joesphs (I believe that is the one off of Old Saint Augustine in Mandarin) require you to use their pianist and vocalist.

    We are getting married at St. Paul's at the beach.  I have spoken with the music director but I am looking for options.  I can bring in outside people but they must be approved by the church.  I know that St. Joe's on Old St. Augustine has a strong music program but they are also a VERY large church.

    They are a HUGE church. We are being married in Sacred Heart Catholic Church and are just using a lady from their music department. It might be worth googling or seeing if there is anyone your priest recommends outside of the church. Sorry I don't have any more information for you.

    We're just using a violinist - Kyle Wehner. He is catholic himself. We aren't having a cantor.
