Hello ladies! :)

I went to David's Bridal (the new one, in Gainesville) 2 weekends ago with my mom. Aside from being crazy busy, I loved the staff. They were very friendly. I was upset, however, that they hardly had ANYTHING in my size. I wear a 0 or a 2, and they only had about 5 dresses total in those sizes (2 of which were the same), and I didn't like any of the styles. I don't consider myself to be too picky either. Then, as I walked through the aisles, I found that several aisles were loaded with huge sizes. Sizes 0-8 were limited, while all the higher ones had several styles to choose from.

I've been in Solutions and they have a really small selection, too, and they're a little out of my price range.

I haven't been to Jay's yet, but I'm looking at going out of Gainesville to find my dress. Any dress stores in North FL that I could visit and find plenty in my size?

    Jay's has a nice selection and the staff there is very friendly.

    I ran into the same thing here in Pensacola, most samples were a 12 or 14, sure they can cinch them up with clips but it skews the dress and in one case the details were in my arm pits!! LOL

    yeah, the ONE dress I liked in the whole store that was somewhat close to my size was a 6, and it completely swallowed me. I looked like a head with a dress. no body. haha.
