New Wedding Location!

Ok, I have been freaking out trying to find the perfect location and my photographer just posted a wedding on her blog from Palm Valley Gardens! I have never heard of this place, but it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Anyone else looked here? Here is a link to her blogpost.. http://epphotostudio.blogspot.com/  I would love to know if it is affordable, they are easy to deal with, etc.

I totally agree with you. Palm Valley Garden is one of the most beautiful venues I've seen... but it also comes w/ a hefty price tag. I saw the place while I was searching for a wedding venue of my own and I absolutely fell in love w/ it. They seem very accomodating but they charge a minimum of $4K to hold the ceremony & reception there. They have two accredited caterers and does not allow outside caterers. If in the event that  you would not spend their minimum charge, they will upgrade options so that you pay a minimum of $4K ++. I have spoken to their staff and they have informed me that they may increase their minimum charge next year .I If you have the budget, I would certainly encourage you to have your wedding there and book it fast as their prices may increase next year. Hope this helps :)

We are having our wedding at PVG...

sgerene, that is not true. They have 2 preferred caterers. You are allowed outside caterers provided they have insurance and able to show proof of it. There is no minimum charge for spending. The only down side is that the wedding has to end at 10 pm and that you have to use their on-site florist.

Despite the higher price in venue, we still managed to stick to our $15K budget. It really depends on how you plan.

They do have a minimum, but probably didn't tell you that since your budget was so big...
