Bakery that makes Cake Balls --Jax

Does anyone know of a bakery in Jacksonville that makes cake balls?  I'd love to have some, but google is not helping me out!  Haha.  TIA!

Silly question, but what's a cake ball?

I've made them before.  They're essentially mashed up cake mixed with icing shaped like a ball and covered in chocolate,  They look like truffles and can be decorated and such.  They're delicious!

Are they like the cake pops? The ones on a stick? If they're cake they must be yummy!!  I would imagine just about any baker could create them. I think but I don't bake so I have no idea. LOL
  • I don't know of anyone that does.... are you willing to make them yourself? I think it involves freezing them anyways so you could make them ahead of time. I've had friends make them for tailgates :)

  • I made them once before and it was entirely too involved and I couldn't make them pretty enough to want them for my wedding.  It took 5 or so hours and they were a mess.  Haha.
