Pensacola Caterer - Nancy Haute Affairs of Classic City Catering?

Trying to chose between these two caterers for a wedding next Spring.

My vendors give props to both and not into chosing one over the other so hoped some other Pensacola brides have had to chose between the two and can provie some advice and insight on why you went with which one.

Just FYI this region is huge and there aren't a lot of Pcola folks on here. Nancy's is absolutely awesome. Not just the food, but they care about every detail. It's a family business but they all have a ton of style and they really care about making your day amazing. I would go with them in a heartbeat!!

Classic City is a little pricey.  We recently used them for our wedding.  The food is great, but we were kind of floored when received the final bill of a little less than $400 for labor hours.  My dad gave them money to move the furniture back into one of the rooms.  Apparently, the only considered it a tip and billed us for a few hours.  I would just be careful with their billing practices.  Additionally, we asked for a couple of things like preset champagne glasses, for the signature drinks to be passed around and for one specific table to have sparking apple cider for the champagne toast.  None of that happened.  In fact, the glasses of champagne were poured after the champagne toast.  Notwithstanding that, CCC gave us the recipe for our signature drink because we bought our own alcohol (they did the bartending also), however, they forgot to include one item.  The charged us $63 for it.  Had we known about the additional ingredient, we would have bought our own.  Our overal alcohol bill was only $400 and we bought a lot with plenty of alcohol to spare.  I am not sure how that one ingredient was 15% of our bill.  That doesn't matter, what matters is that they should  have told us. 

Additionally, one of their employees scratched my father's car.  They paid for the repair without a problem.  Overall, I would still have used them, but definely been more agressive regarding the contract, billing, and services.
