1.First Name & FI's First name and wedding date? Jackie and Adam 5/22/2010
2. Where did you go to college? We both went to UNF but never crossed paths
3. What part of the world do you live in? Jacksonville, Fl
4. How did you and FI Meet? We met through plentyoffish.com  and we met in person at Starbucks
5. How long have you been together? 14 months
6. Do you live together? Why or why not? No, I was in a unhealthy living situation and wanted to find a new place to live.  Adam suggested looking in to buying instead of renting.  We had only been together like a month so I wasn't about to move in with him then.  I'm not sure if I would have if things were different though. 
7. How did FI propose?  After a long plane flight to Vegas and an even longer drive to the grand canyon.  He proposed at Hopi Point and even video taped it without be realizing.

8. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why?  10 months, I had originally thought about October but neither of us wanted to wait that long.  I knew I didn't want a summer wedding.  May just seemed like the perfect month. 
9. Favorite wedding vendor so far? DJ...although he wasn't the first entertainment we had planned on.  I know Tony is going to be amazing and keep the night flowing
10. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far? You are going to get stressed out...just take a deep breath.  Everyone and their mothers will give suggestions take them all in but you are the only one that knows what will work best for you.
11. What do you do for a career? What does FI do? I'm the public access coordinator for Comcast.  Adam is the estimator/project manager for his dad's electrical company, Diamond Electrical Contractors
12. Do you think you could be/will ever be a stay at home mama?  I would love to be!!!  We will if we are finacially stable.  I may work part time or from home.  I think I'm leading towards the contract/own business direction anyways.
13. Do you want children? Any potential names yet? We want 4.  Samuel Adam Jr., Jude, Aaron, Elizabeth, Abigal, Annabelle
14. Do you have any pets? Names? Yes, a minature pincher.  He lives up to his name, Dodger.  He has the best personality.  We have talked about getting another after the wedding. 
15. Do you have any siblings?  I'm an only child.  Adam has an older half brother and a younger sister.  They are both in the wedding.
16. What is your favorite food? Italian, Mexican, and Japanese
17. What is your favorite movie? I have to say the all time fave is Sound of Music
18. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol and Non-Alcohol) Alcoholic - Woodchuck Cider (I don't drink it a lot anymore since its lots of calories) and non-alcohol - coke
19. What is the hardest part of wedding plans for you? Other people's opinions.  Adam is very much involved in the planning and its wonderful that he wants to be but at the same time I have had to compromise on some of my visions. 
20. Where are you honeymooning? Ireland for two weeks.  We plan to see Wicklow Mountains, Waterford, Galway (and surrounding area) and Dublin.  We are planning our family soon (I'll be 27 and he'll be almost 29) so we wanted to do something we wouldn't be able to do later.
21. What is the best thing you learned on The Knot? All the other ideas people have shared.  The help when you need to vent. 
22. What's one city you would love to live in for a year?  I would love to live in LA or surrounding area.  I don't think Adam would.  He did mention in the mountains of Tenn.  I could do that too!
23. What do you love most about your FI?  His caring heart.  He always pushes to be better.  His love for me.
24. If you have an extra $5000 to put towards your wedding only, what would you spend it on?  Decorations, Instrumental for the ceremony, full open bar we just have beer and wine
25. What is one silly thing about you?  I talk to myself all the time and don't always agree lol 
26. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? navybaby she is just so prepared and its sounds amazing, osheas ceremony sounded amazing, and christie's location is so pretty I think that is going to be beautiful!
27. What is something you learned from The Knot that you never heard of prior? boudiar pictures, I didn't know the difference between escort and placecards, first look pictures,
28. What other Knottie boards do you visit? I use to lurk on DYI and budget but haven't gone in awhile
29. Describe yourself in 3 words.  Quiet, Silly, Easygoing
30. What else do you want to share??  I just want to thank all those that contribute.  It's so much easier to vent and talk with people that are going through the same thing as you at the same time.

Yeah we totally lucked out!  I had some money saved, his parents are giving us money as our present, we are going to take some of what we get for the wedding and Adam is working his butt off umpiring to earn more.  We are pretty budget conscience people so we are doing it on a lower budget than most people without cutting corners.
