Hey girls! I just wanted to give you an update on Bella! She still can't walk but the doctor things she will be able to in about 2 months (so cross your fingers). She is showing some good signs:
1. She can wag her tail a little...when you try to grab her tail she pulls it away (like she used to before she went paralyzed)
2. When you pinch her toes she brings in her legs (before there was no movement)
3. At her last acupuncture/electric therapy treatment the doctor put it at the level it was last time and she tried to bite him which meant she felt it!
4. She is starting to hold her pee and not going in the diaper! She is trying to hold her tinkles and wait for me to get home and take her outside to express her bladder rather than going in the diaper which means she is getting control of her bladder back.
I feel so bad that I am happy that she hurts when I pinch her toes but it makes me feel good that she can actually feel something...just seems wrong!
Hopefully I can go back to planning the wedding soon...and maybe I can get my hair done. I haven't been able to with all the money I need to pay for her treatments. But it is worth it!
