Still NO pictures

Yell I got married in October. Our photographer is a friend of a friend.I am not worried that she will not give me my pictures but it's taking really long. Or at least I think it is. She has given a sneak peak on her facebook and sent me a few via email during Christmas time. But I don't want to stay anything because we didn't sign a contract and she had originally said that on top of everything else we would have to pay $50 a CD for our pictures. Does any of this seem right to anyone? I am going to give a review once I get my pictures. She's a really sweet girl but she is just starting out I believe she is still in school for Photography. She did send me a CD during the week but it had no pictures on it. Blank CD. Cry

Re: Still NO pictures

  • That's awful....for someone just starting out you would think she would want to impress!
    Anniversary
  • My husband said the SAME thing.
  • I had a smiilar experience when I was pregnant! Unfortunately, I couldn't really say anything because her services were alo cheaper than using a prof. photographer. If you don;t mind me asking, what is her first name? I have a funny feeling we are talking about the same person!! I also paid $50 for the CD and she was still in school. This was 2.5 years ago and I never got my pregnancy pics until my son was 6 months old!!
  • By the way...I was in Pensacola at this time :(

  • Wow well my girl is in Jacksonville. What's her name?
  • Sorry to hear that you are having this issue especially with your WEDDING PICS!! If a photographer does not ask you to sign a contract immediately a red flag should go up!
  • I appreciate but you are a vendor and you shouldn't be posting on here. Probably not going to help your business that you can not follow the rules. Thank you everything has been resolved.
  • I lived in Pensacola at the time. And, I am not a vendor. I have nothing to do with photography or have my own business or anything. I was just simply stating that I had a very similiar story with a photographer when I was pregnant. I don't know how you took what I said and twisted it the way you did. O well.
  • Actually I am not a vendor. All I simply said was that I had a very similiar experience when I was pregant with a "would be" photographer. I, in no way, have my own business or are advertising non existent services on here. I am a paralegal so I have no idea where you got that I am a vendor. I am planning my wedding this summer and decided to get on this site. Thanks for the rude remark! Have a good one!
