anyone use etsy for their invitations???

i have become more and more intrigued with the idea of ordering my invitations from a seller on etsy....there are just SO many sellers with gorgeous invitations that i am not sure who to use!

i have stalked the invites and paper board a little bit and gotten some ideas of good sellers, but any advice from you ladies would be much appreciated!!!

FYI - i am not very crafty or artsy so would prefer to just pay for the invites to be fully printed and assembled. i would like a pocket fold of some sort but am not too picky about the type of pocket.

thanks in advance!!

    I love Etsy!

I was looking closely at one seller, but then I read her feedback and it wasn't all that great. I guess the finished product usually was (assuming it was done correctly, there were a few that weren't), but most feedback, even positive, said she took forever to do them. So definitely check feedback before purchasing!

I finally decided (although it's not purchased yet, so still time to change my mind lol) that we're going to order a PDF from an Etsy seller. It's like $35, then we can have as many as we need printed. She also does matching monograms, table numbers, etc, so I plan to get those as well. I'm going to order pocketfolds and other paper from cardsandpockets.com (I think) and have them printed. It will be a task to put them all together, but I have willing helpers :)

  • thanks so much for the hints, girls!!! after my new save the date dilemma (for a more detailed explanation see today's WTF post) i am planning to order a few samples from the etsy vendors i like the best who have reasonable prices and then choose the best one to use as our invite....this seems like the best way to see what the invites actually look like and how they feel in your hand (which is weird but totally important to me).  it will also help me to see how quick the sellers turnaround time is!
  • I just did!  I haven't received them yet, but they look good on the computer and the price is right.

I used Inviting Moments.  She has great, creative and inexpensive designs.  She's very helpful and responsive.

All in, including shipping, my invites were $2.32 each.  That includes a $40 rush option and color double-sided printing on both the invite and the RSVP card.
