We cannot recommend Elegant Beginnings to anyone. Wedding 'Day of Coordination' was purchased and overall it turned out to be a frustrating event for us (the bride and groom). We initially chose Elegant Beginnings because of their great reviews, but now we regret that choice.
There were no issues with the pre-planning phase and Kimberly (owner) was helpful with this process. However, our wedding day coordination with two separate coordinators was a bust. The ceremony coordinator was very rude and unapproachable to our guests. It was a private and intimate ceremony with close family and friends, and nearly all guests complained about her inappropriate behavior and rude comments, forcing us to apologize to them all for her actions. The ceremony coordinator also did not perform many things that was outlined in the contract and timeline. The reception site coordinator was disinterested in making sure everything ran smoothly at our reception. She had a picture of what all the tables were suppose to look like, but was still confused and unmotivated, therefore, forcing our guests to set up the table centerpieces. She also had to be prompted to do simple things, such as, getting the band to announce our first dance.
Kimberly agreed to ONLY refund us for the ceremony due to the ceremony coordinator not fulfilling her responsibilities and rude behavior. Kimberly did not put customer satisfaction first above her coordinators' reputation. Both coordinators DID NOT make it their priority to ensure our wedding went smooth, stress free, and fabulous. Due to their unprofessionalism and the complaints received from guests, we DO NOT recommend Elegant Beginnings for your special day.
