Dewey's Destin

Has anyone ever eaten here and did you like it? We are thinking about having our rehearsal dinner here (at the Harborside location), but neither of us have tried it personally, we only had friends to recommend it so I wanted to get some more opinions. Thanks ladies!!

PS. We aren't worried about it being casual, because we are having a laid back beach wedding anyway

I have heard nothing but good things. We are considering having them cater our casual "crab boil" style reception.

I wish I could say I have tried it but I have been going to Destin at least twice a year for over ten years and have yet to eat there. I am not sure how I have missed out?

I've heard nothing but good things too, and a lot of my family has eaten there, I just never have personally. I have no idea how we have not been there either, but I think I am just going to go with it since it has so many good reviews. Thanks for your input!

Good afternoon! Dewey's is definitely a good place to have a rehearsal dinner! As a local, and someone who has eaten there a few times, the food and atmosphere is really nice! Definitely give them a call though because the harborside location is not very big and I do not remember if they have a seperate room for hosting parties. As well, be prepared to pay!! It is by far not the most expensive restaurant in Destin, but not the cheapest either. Look and see if you can find a menu on Urbanspoon or google them!!

Either way, you guys will have a great time and really enjoy being able to look out on the harbor!!

Thanks for the suggestions! I was definitely planning to call and make reservations, because we will have about 30 people, so that is good to know. I've also looked at the menu and it actually seems pretty reasonable compared to some of the other places I've seen, depending on what people get :) Thanks again!
