Changing Last Name

I know there's probably been a dozen posts on this but too lazy to look :) Do I get a new social security card first or driver's license when changing my last name and other than the marriage license what do I need to bring? TIA!

    SS office, then DMV, and then everything else.

    You'll need your marriage license, SS card (I'm assuming) and driver's license.

    Go to SS Office first, then take the paper they give you to the DMV to change your drivers license. After that I just had to show my marriage license at the bank, but not for anything else.  Credit cards can be changed with just a phone call!
