Wedding night accommodations in St. Augustine

Does anyone have any suggestions about where to stay on our wedding night? Of course, the Casa Monica is the first place that comes to mind, but it's a bit pricey...just wanted to see what other options there might be.  Let me know if you guys have any ideas.  Thanks!

(PS - The Knot messages boards have quickly become my best friend when it comes to trying to plan our wedding from across the country! haha)

I would NOT recommend a Bed and Breakfast since the last time I stayed at one of those places for an anniversary the bed made all kinds of loud sounds.. Not good for getting your groove on.. lol

I stayed at the Casa Monica for my wedding night (5 days ago) and it was great. I agree expensive but it is your wedding night,.... see if you can fit it in your budget. We stayed in the largest suite at $600 a night but they have normal size rooms starting at $300 a night.

Me and my fiance stayed at the Agustin Inn for an anniversary and it was great. It is right off George Street, and we didn't have any problems with the bed making noises.

St. Augustine has so many great B&B's (some of them have rooms much nicer/bigger than what the Casa Monica offers but for a lower price).  We stayed at the Old City House Inn because it was convenient to our wedding location.  It's probably not the best B&B around, but it was very nice and they have a wonderful restaurant too (we ate breakfast there the morning after, and the mimosas and eggs benedict were excellent).  We stayed in the Alcazar room, I believe, which had a window with a great view of the plaza and Flagler College (you can see the pics in the anticipation section of my married bio).
