So, my little breakdown on Wednesday opened my eyes to the fact that I really need to get my butt in gear. I mean, my engagement will be a total of 15 months, and I wanted this long engagment so I wouldn't feel stressed. Has that worked so far? Not so much. But it's because I totally allow myself to sweat the small stuff.
I still have 10 months to go, but I refuse to let stuff pile up at the end. So this week I've: narrowed it down to 2 caterers, contacted a prospective photographer and set up an appointment, contacted 2 prospective DJs and have been able to set up a meeting with one so far, and made an appointment for my dress fitting.
I know this isn't the most exciting post, but these are big accomplishments for me, as I've decided wedding planning is not my most favorite thing in the world. But I'm going to change my attitude and from here on out it's at least going to be "not so bad".
