Sparklers for exit?

Hi,

Does anyone know where to buy sparklers for the exit for the reception? I have called quite a few party stores per our venue's suggestion, but haven't had any luck yet...

    I think unless you start checking stores around 4th of July you'll have to order them online. We got ours from www.sparklersrus.com that PP mentioned. I picked them because they had decent package deals on sparklers based on number of people. We got the 20 inch sparklers package for 100 people and it was plenty.

    Are sparklers considered fireworks? I really wanted to do this at my wedding in November but was under the impression fireworks are banned except for certain dates around New Year's and 4th of July. Does anyone know?
    Married my better half on 11/6/2011.

    Hi

    Sparklers are not considered fireworks, they are classified as novelties, however local laws supercede national laws so be sure to check with the local jusridiction and most iportantly your wedding venue to make sure sparklers are ok.  Generally, as long as you are safe with them there wil be no problems.

    The least expensive place on the web to buy sparklers is <a href="http://weddingsparklersusa.com" rel='nofollow'>http://weddingsparklersusa.com</a> and they sell black cat brand as opposed to the generic wedding sparklers that everyone else sells.

    Trust me on this--no one is going to care if you use sparklers for your wedding exit.  We had 3 ft long ones in downtown Mesa when all fireworks were illegal and no one said a word.  Have fun--everyone loved ours!
